I got this idea from my friend Yosen, who managed to do a whole year (leap year even!) and is continuing to do it. When he brought it up a year ago, I felt I couldn’t commit the time and energy. Now, I feel I can and it’s been fun so far. The words have not been easy!

I think it segues well with my novel writing. At the moment, my novel is largely outlined. I got my chapters outlined, though some parts are still fuzzy. Now I’m going back and I’m filling in the details and bringing it to life. I often find myself coming across the most boring sentences (i.e. “she went to the town square”), which don’t offer the reader much to engage with. I believe #vss365 will help keep my skills sharp! And, it’s fun! I also love seeing what others came up with!
